This Cookie Policy explains how ClientAhead.com uses cookies and similar browser technologies. It also distinguishes the public marketing site from the necessary authentication and security technologies that may be used when a merchant accesses a ClientAhead product.

A cookie is a small text file stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, device identifiers, server logs or browser security controls. Not every connection to a website creates a cookie.

ClientAhead.com is a static marketing site. At the date shown above, it does not intentionally deploy optional analytics, advertising, retargeting, social-media pixel or user-profiling cookies. The site does not require you to create an account, submit a tracking preference or accept non-essential cookies in order to read its public pages.

If this changes, we will update this policy and implement consent or an opt-out where applicable before placing optional cookies.

Our hosting, content-delivery and security providers may process connection details such as browser requests, IP-derived information, device signals or short-lived security cookies to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors or defend against malicious traffic. These technologies are used for site operation and security, not for behavioural advertising.

Because these technologies can be controlled by the provider or browser rather than ClientAhead’s page code, their exact names and lifetimes can vary. Blocking all necessary cookies or security controls can affect access to the site.

The current ClientAhead website does not load Google Analytics, a Google Ads conversion tag, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or another behavioural analytics or advertising SDK. We do not use cookies on this website to build advertising audiences, track you across unrelated sites or measure personalised ad activity.

Applying for or using a Google Ads API developer token does not itself place a Google Ads tag or cookie on this website. No ClientAhead product currently accesses Google Ads API data.

The public site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. A browser connection to that service can be subject to Google’s own technical processing and privacy practices; ClientAhead does not use the font request as an analytics or advertising tool.

Where you choose to leave ClientAhead.com for Shopify, Google, a merchant checkout or another external service, that service may use its own cookies and policies. Review the relevant provider’s information before using its service.

ClientAhead product apps are different from the public marketing site. Shopify embedded authentication and product security controls can use necessary session, CSRF, management or security cookies and related storage to keep an authorized merchant session safe. Bookimatic may also use necessary cookies when an authorized merchant connects an optional Google Calendar account or when a customer uses a Shopify checkout flow.

Those product technologies are not a public-site advertising tracker. Product-specific data practices are described in the Privacy Policy, and merchants should also review the policies of Shopify and any service they authorize.

You can control or delete cookies through browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies, use private browsing or clear stored data after a session. Instructions differ by browser and device.

Blocking or clearing necessary cookies can stop a merchant from staying signed in, completing an authorization flow or using an app securely. It does not remove information that a product has already stored in its service; use the Data Rights & Deletion process for that type of request.

Cookie and tracking rules differ by location. Where applicable law requires notice, consent or an opt-out for a new optional technology, ClientAhead will provide the relevant choice before using it. The absence of optional tracking on the current site is why no optional-cookie preference banner is shown today.

We will not treat a browser setting as consent to a new optional tracking purpose unless the law allows us to do so.

If you are a merchant using a ClientAhead product, your own privacy notice may also need to explain your use of Shopify, booking pages, checkout and any customer-facing integrations that you enable.

We may update this policy when the website, a product or a provider changes. Any new optional analytics or advertising technology will be documented before it is used.
